 Civil Cad Technician- Edmond, Oklahoma

We are currently looking for a civil CAD technician for our Edmond, OK office with 2 to 8 years of CAD work experience.  Experience should include the preparation of roadway, site civil, ADA reports, storm drainage, water system, sanitary sewer system, and related improvement plans using AutoCad/Civil 3D (2010 or higher). Responsibilities include the management of electronic files, the setup of plan sheets, and establishment of horizontal and vertical alignments, development of design plans, development of project details, and the assembly of construction documents, ensuring quality in drawing presentation. Requirements:

  • Experience with Civil 3D (2010 or higher preferred), with a clear understanding of Civil 3D styles and functionality allowing for the production of quality work products
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated,  excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Represent RPP in a professional manner with great client services
  • CAD management skills a plus (including the development of styles and templates to support CAD Standards)

Professional Engineer, Transportation- Vancouver, WA

Red Plains Professional is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer with experience in transportation design:  Roadway, Site Civil, Infrastructure, and Utility Design.  The candidate we are looking for should have experience managing and directing civil technicians, designers, and other engineers to produce quality PS&E’s.  Strong design and project management abilities will be required.  Sub-consultant coordination from project award through final construction will likely be required of this position including the coordination of: Environmental, Archeological, Geotechnical, Survey, etc.

Red Plains does a significant amount of work in the Tribal Transportation Market with the FHWA and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  The Professional Engineer we are looking for would be challenged with unique projects and enthusiastic transportation clients in the Pacific NW and across the United States. Candidates with PE licensure in California, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Utah are desired.  The position is located in our Vancouver, WA (Salmon Creek) Office.

Full Time Salary Position Range:

$85,000 to $125,000 + Benefits DOE

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the Tribal Transportation Program is preferred but not required
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years transportation design experience
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D (2015 or more recent) experience preferred
  • Microstation Design Experience a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with multiple priorities

Civil Designer/Technician/EIT’s -,Transportation and Site - Vancouver, WA

Red Plains Professional is seeking one to two civil designers/technicians with experience in transportation design:  Roadway, Site Civil, Infrastructure, and Utility Design.  The candidate we are looking for should have experience working/designing in Civil 3-D.   The successful candidate will have the personality and determination to contribute to our growing engineering and planning firm producing quality PS&E’s under the direction of our professional engineering staff (6 PE’s).  Strong technical and design abilities are desired.

Red Plains does a significant amount of work in the Tribal Transportation Market with the FHWA and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  The civil designers, technicians or engineers in training we are looking for would be challenged with unique projects and enthusiastic transportation clients in the Pacific NW and across the United States. We are a growing firm with offices in Washington, Oklahoma, Alaska, and California.  The position is located in our Vancouver, WA (Salmon Creek) Office.

Full Time Salary Position Range:

$35,500 to $70,000 + Benefits DOE
