We are currently seeking individuals for the following positions: 

Director of Marketing

Red Plains Professional is seeking a Director of Marketing in its Corporate (Edmond) Office. This person will support all marketing activities for Red Plains Professional nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and possess great written, communication, and graphic design skills. 

Duties and responsibilities would include assisting with the coordination, collaboration and production of marketing proposals, materials, and literature.  Providing support for marketing events and conferences.  Assist with the assembly of promotional literature and materials.  Preparing content for website and social media accounts.  Assist with public relations activities, event planning, newsletters, advertising, photography, and awards submissions.

Requirements include a Bachelors in Communications, Advertising, or Marketing. Previous experience in the Architecture, and/or Engineering industry is highly desired.  The ability to work within a team, communicate effectively, and a desire to innovate new ideas for the company’s Marketing Plan.  Applicant shall be computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is a plus. GIS Field Technicians (2 openings)

Red Plains Professional (RPP) is seeking two GIS Field Technician(s) to join our growing team in the Vancouver (Salmon Creek), Washington Office.  We are looking for "entry" or "mid" level field data collection staff who are looking for a starting level position in a growing field. We are seeking dedicated individuals with a drive to start a career in geographic information systems (GIS) who have the willingness to be out in the field collecting accurate and verifiable roadway and bridge conditions assessments. A candidate with the ability to be in the office and post process the data is also desirable. RPP's Vancouver Office manages the majority of the GIS projects which are located mainly in the western United States. The successful candidate will need the ability to travel for extended periods of time to our many project locations to conduct the field data collection required. Post processing of the field data collected will be performed in the Vancouver, WA office. We work in a very specific transportation market presently and will provide on the job training to the selected candidates.

Candidates must have a foundational understanding of GIS. Associates or Bachelor in a related field are preferred but not required. Strong computer skills, dedication to start a career, a strong work ethic, and the desire to contribute to a strong well-operating team within RPP are all a must.  All qualified candidates will be considered for employment. Transportation Planner

Red Plains Professional (RPP) is seeking a Transportation Planner to join our growing team in the Vancouver (Salmon Creek), Washington Office. RPP planning focuses on providing transportation, land use, master, maintenance, transit, asset management, GIS, TTIP, and CIP planning services within the Tribal Transportation Program (TTP).  As a firm, we have the ability to see a transportation related project from conception to completed construction with future operation and maintenance.  Similar to State, County, and City DOT's, the Tribe's across the United States operate [in conjunction with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)] Tribal Transportation Departments.  We consult with the BIA and FHWA, but mainly directly with Tribes to assist in the operation and capacity building of the Tribal DOT's.  The TTP is a program that is identified in the Federal Highway/Transportation Bills, is regulated by the Federal Register 25 CFR Part 170, and is critical to the improvement and maintenance of the Tribal Transportation Networks.  The successful candidate will either have significant experience working within the TTP with Tribes, or have a significant amount of related planning experience that will translate well to working with Tribe's, the BIA, and FHWA. 

RPP is seeking a qualified Transportation Planner with a bachelor’s degree or higher in a transportation planning or other planning related accredited program with a minimum of 3 years working in the TTP or a minimum of 7-10 years of actively planning in the TTP.  Strong computer skills, dedication to the continuation and enhancement of a career, a strong work ethic, and the desire to contribute to an existing strong well-operating team within RPP are all a must. We are looking for a candidate with the potential to grow into the position and role of Director of Planning at Red Plains Professional.

Civil Design Engineer

Red Plains Professional is seeking a Civil Design Engineer for its Transportation and Land Development team.  Duties and responsibilities would include development of engineering studies, report writing, client meeting participation, and preparation of construction documents including plans, specifications, and estimates. 

Required skills include the ability to work within a team, communicate effectively, and a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.  Required experience includes Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineering licensure, or ability to obtain within one year, and 3+ years of experience in civil design. Engineering Technician

Red Plains Professional is seeking an Engineering Technician for its Transportation and Land Development team.  Duties and responsibilities would include production of layouts, exhibits, and construction documents.
